Information can be broken up into three catergories.
1. Facts, which is something that we know to be true.
2. Theories, which is information that can not be proven or disproven.
3. Fantasies, which is Information that is not true at all.
Eckhart Tolle said it best: βTo offer an informed opinion, we must first learn to distinguish between facts and beliefs.β Many of us are fed ideas by others that appear as truth - but if we investigate deeply enough, these notions may turn out to be theories or fantasies in disguise! Belief is a form of trust; however, despite what many held true centuries ago (e.g the world was flat!), it's important for each individual to ask themselves whether their convictions stand up against reason and investigation in order uncover what they truly know about any given situation or subject matter.
